  • It can be hiked in both directions

Classic trek: 4 days from les arcs 2000

  • Day 1:  Les Arcs 2000 → Refuge du Mont Pourri
    • Hiking time:  2h45
    • Difference in height +: 450 m
    • Difference in height  -: 200 m        
  • Day 2: Refuge du Mont Pourri → Refuge de la Martin
    • Hiking time: 6h30
    • Difference in height  +: 1 100 m
    • Difference in height  -: 900 m    
  • Day 3: Refuge de la Martin → Refuge de Turia
    • Hiking time: 4h30 
    • Difference in height  +: 800 m
    • Difference in height  -: 550 m
  • Day 4:  Refuge de Turia → Les Arcs 2000
    • Hiking time: 3h 
    • Difference in height  +: 450 m
    • Difference in height  - : 750 m

 

For the athletes: the trek in 2 days

 

The very good walkers can hike the Mont Pourri Trek in 2 days. Various itineraries are possible, for instance:

Starting point:  Rosuel Mountain hut (village of Peisey-Nancroix) 

Day 1: Stay the night at La Martin Mountain Hut, via La Sachette pass

Day 2: Go back to Rosuel Mountain Hut, via Turia Mountain Hut and Arc 2000

 

The most eager trailers can also run the trek in one day…

  • Day 1: Arcs 2000 → Refuge du Mont-Pourri
  • Day 2: Refuge du Mont-Pourri → Refuge du Col du Palet
  • Day 3: Refuge du Col du Palet → Refuge de la Martin
  • Day 4: Refuge de la Martin → Refuge de Turia
  • Day 5: Refuge de Turia → Arcs 2000
